Implementation of state sanitary supervision over the observance by legal entities and individuals of sanitary legislation of Ukraine, sanitary norms and rules, and normative legal acts to preserve and protect the health of police officers, employees of territorial police bodies and units, institutions subordinated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, servicemen of the NGU, pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and their families. The study, assessment, and forecasting of health indicators, persons entitled to medical care, identification of environmental factors that adversely affect human health, and development of measures for their localization and elimination. Preparation of proposals to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of persons entitled to medical care and persons in police units, prevention of the spread of infectious diseases.
