On February 8, 2023, on the basis of the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Odesa Region", in accordance with the Agreement No. 0211/22 on scientific and practical cooperation with the State Institution "Ukrainian Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine", the second lesson in the series of training seminars "Organizational, Methodological and Applied Issues of Rehabilitation Care" was held to improve the skills of doctors and specialists of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
In accordance with the approved training plan, the second methodological seminar on "Organization of rehabilitation care on rehabilitation routes for traumatic brain injury" was conducted by Balashova Iryna Vitaliivna, PhD, a leading specialist in rehabilitation medicine at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Among the key issues discussed during the event, the main focus was on the organization of rehabilitation care on rehabilitation routes and the development of individual rehabilitation plans.
The management of the Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Odesa Oblast organized the training event in a mixed format via a zoom conference, which allowed stakeholders from all regions of Ukraine to participate in the training. In total, more than 50 specialists took part in the remote format, including heads of territorial medical associations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, heads of rehabilitation, physiotherapy, neurology departments, and doctors of MIA healthcare facilities.
The next training event, according to the approved training plan, will be held in March. The time of the event will be announced in advance.
